Check it out! I’m so darn excited about my new cover. It was done by Go On Write which has quickly become one of my favorite websites to peruse.
A few quick things for those who have been asking since I’m still working on the blurb:
- This is nota Theories in Love book so no Jenna or her gang
- It is loosely connected (which you’ll how see in later TiL books)
- It’s about 22k — or, in NY Publishing speak 90ish pages — or, if we do the math, just under 2 hours of reading fun (hopefully *grin*)
- When is it coming out you ask? It heads off to the final editor this weekend. If everything goes well, it should hit Amazon the week of the 17th (assuming Amazon doesn’t do wacky things to it and boot it back)
So, you want hints, huh? Well, here you go: What would happen if you had four weeks till New Year’s Eve to find a date as your ultra-competitive nemisis mocked your singleness and your best friend sunk deeper into wedded-bliss? Online dating you say? If you’re Sarah Gable online dating can lead to only one thing. Ridiculousness. But can it lead to Mr. Right, too?
And so, the new cover for The Last Single Girl *drum roll*
Ohmygosh… I just bounced around my office again looking at it. I totally love this cover. I think it grabs the feel of the Big Night Out, but — since the book is set during the holidays, but not about the holidays — still has the light, girly feeling of my heroine.
I really hope you love it as much as I do. I want to build it out of a giant cardboard box so I can hug it.
That wouldn’t be weird, right?
